Maybe that airlines do have a heart. JetBlue and Delta are allowing passengers to rebook flights to and from cities that are affected by the winter storm without a fee.
JetBlue will waive change fees and fare differences for flights to, from, or through LaGuardia, JFK, Newark, White Plains, and Stewart International Airport scheduled for Jan. 6 and 7. Travelers will be able to rebook through Jan. 8. Passengers traveling to, from, or through Boston Logan on Jan. 7 will be allowed to rebook through Jan. 8.
Delta will waive change fees for travelers on Delta, Delta Connection, and Northwest that are going to, from, or through Baltimore, Cincinnati, and Washington (Dulles and Reagan National) . Customers must be traveling between Jan. 5 through 7 and they may make a one-time change by Jan. 11 and travel must begin by January 11.
Delta, though, will charge for a fare increase but if the flight is canceled, customers may request a refund.
