CityCenter: One man’s concept of a real city

When you look at the CityCenter, you can’t help but marvel at the architecture and all the glass and steel. But that’s not what MGM Mirage CEO Jim Murren wants you to notice.

The man who conceived of this place, however, would like to draw your attention to a small park bench.

Tucked between the 61-story Aria and the fanciful, futuristic retail promenade known as Crystals, Murren will show you the park bench, under the shade of a Zen-like cluster of trees. This little pocket park, he says, may be the most precious real estate in all of City Center.

Ryanair named worst family brand in poll dominated by airlines
In a poll of Daily Mail readers, Ryanair was named the worst family brand in a list that is dominated by airlines.

It finished bottom of the study, below fellow airlines bmi and its offshoot, bmi Baby.

Many of those surveyed said Ryanair put profit before caring for passengers and had a mercenary attitude to fees.

The Irish airline charges a family of four a £40 booking fee for a return flight, on top of the other costs.
