If you’re going to be in Vegas during the year of the snake, you’re in for quite a treat.

The casino capital celebrates Chinese New Year — also known as lunar new year — in a big way, with feasts, exhibits, performances and other events at outdoor festivals and at casino-resorts like Bellagio and The Venetian.

American Airlines to operate large regional jets for the first time in company history

American Airlines has signed a 12-year capacity purchase agreement with Republic Airways Holdings to provide large regional jet service.

It is designed to offer customers more choices with the right-size aircraft to match market demand, strengthen service from American’s hubs and diversify its partnership with regional carriers.

787 battery blew up in ’06 lab test, burned down building

A fire at a lab in Arizona showed how volatile the 787′s lithium-ion battery can be.

A single battery connected to prototype equipment exploded, and despite a massive fire department response, the whole building burned down.
