I remember when I worked for a major airline headquartered in Atlanta we would have two planes from West Palm and Fort Lauderdale arriving at adjoining gates together with requests for 110+ wheelchairs for connecting passengers ...on the average only 10 were needed. So now are ALL of these people going to claim themselves DISABLED so they can bring a companion for free?? They got me at Dublin airport is a similar insurance requirment, which left a bitter taste. I enjoyed Ireland, but because of getting screwed on my car rental never went back.
