Man wearing body armor busted with luggage full of weapons at LAX

A man traveling from Japan to LAX was busted at customs for carrying a luggage full of weapons.

He was pulled aside in customs for a secondary baggage inspection when an officer noticed Harris was wearing a bullet-proof vest. The officer asked Harris if he had anything he would like to declare in his checked luggage.

Harris told the officer he had a knife, but when his bag was searched, the officer found a troubling array of suspicious items.

United Airlines raises prices by up to $10 per round trip

United Airlines is raising airfares on most flights within the United States by up to $10 per round trip.

The airline confirmed the increase on Wednesday. J.P. Morgan analyst Jamie Baker said that as of Wednesday morning, no other major airlines had matched United’s move.

United’s increase ranged from $4 to $10 per round trip, depending on distance. Baker said it was the 12th attempt this year by airlines to raise fares, but only four have succeeded.

US Airways flight attendants to take strike vote

US Airways flight attendants will take a strike vote to back up demands for a single contract.

According to an AFA statement to its members, the group said it remains “focused on achieving a contract that works for all of us and in order to do that, we need to back up our demands by taking action together.”

    Yes, that man was busted in the US, where he went through two other countries where he wasn’t stopped. Scary isnt’ it!
