ANA to cut domestic routes, implement a la carte items
Taking a cue from other airlines, ANA is set to trim its expenses and implement its “emergency income recovery plan.”
ANA will expand its unpaid leave offer to the entire company and said it will begin offering “certain items and services” for sale to economy passengers that previously were available only in premium cabins such as meals, drinks and lounge access.
Aviation long beset by turbulence
According to federal data, weather experts and pilots what happened to the Continental flight that made an emergency landing in Miami has “plagued aviation for decades.”
Bumpy air is the biggest cause of airborne injuries outside of fatal crashes, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. While other causes of aviation accidents have steadily declined, incidents of turbulence causing serious injury have remained flat for decades.
Fun to get more expensive at Disney World
Plan on bringing more money when you go to Disney World because prices will go up.
Theme park multi-day admission prices will increase by 2.5 percent to 5.3 percent, depending on the nature of the passes. In 2006, when the economy was strong, the park hiked prices 16 percent.
