In connection with the upcoming Hobbit films, Air New Zealand has released a safety briefing video with the characters from Middle Earth.

NBAA: Boeing unveils BBJ version of 737 Max

Boeing has announced that it will release a business jet version of the 737 MAX.

The BBJ Max 8 will become the fourth version of the 737 family to be aimed at the business aviation market, and the announcement precedes a decision by Airbus on whether to offer a corporate jet version of the similarly re-engined A320neo.


JFK, Newark to reopen, LaGuardia closed

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey announced that Newark and JFK will reopen on Wednesday with limited service while LaGuardia will remain closed.

Dulles and Reagan airports near Washington, DC, resumed a limited number of flights on Tuesday and many airlines were likely to resume operations on Wednesday. Some flights were operating at Philadelphia Airport and Boston’s Logan Airport.
