		<description>I just go straight to the hotel&#039;s corporate website to book my hotel rooms.  I compare their usual rates compared to what AAA members pay, then I will reserve whatever is cheaper.  I am a member of AAA, so I can show my card if ever asked, and I book with hotels that I have a frequent stay number.

Since I do not book my hotel months in advance, I have not worried too much that the rate has gone down, but thanks to Dennis Lewis, I will keep that in mind if I do book out in advance.</description>

		<description>It sounds like Travelocity is addressing a problem I&#039;ve noticed -- you book a refundable hotel room a few months in advance and then, a few weeks before your trip, check the Web and learn the nightly rate has dropped. But Travelocity&#039;s rate adjustment isn&#039;t automatic -- you still have to call an agent. I&#039;ve wondered why Starwood&#039;s reservation system won&#039;t automatically adjust my portfolio to reflect the rate reduction so that I don&#039;t have to either cancel and rebook or phone an agent. (Oh, wait, there&#039;s always the likelihood I won&#039;t learn the rates gone down and pay the higher rate without questioning it.)</description>
