I saw an article on another blog that offered up a slightly different take on what to take when you travel this summer. It’s at http://blog.christophersontravel.com. It was less specific about items and more specific about behaviors.

You left out the best suggestion: If at all possible, choose a destination that does not require flying! That way you’ll avoid the crowds of families, the maddening TSA hassles, the understaffed “customer service,” and especially the middle seat. It’s something to consider.
