The next time you find yourself in Berlin, you can take a piece of the Berlin Wall home.
Since January 9, 2009, a piece of the Berlin Wall has been standing in front of the Westin Grand hotel in Berlin and souvenir pieces may be chipped out of it.
Now the hotel is offering the “Fall of the Berlin Wall” package which comes with two nights in the Westin Grand, breakfast, and a hammer and chisel where you can chip out a little piece to take home. You also get a map to guide guests along the route of the Berlin Wall, a Berlin curried sausage and a glass of Champagne.
The package starts at €199 per person in a double room or €300 in a single room.
The offer is valid until November 30, 2009 and subject to availability.
