Flow control is another issue when it comes to flying into or out of congested airports, as I do.  Another is ground stops.  Both are highly used when it comes to traveling into the busy New York Area Airports.  I hear these terms regularly, when trying to get home.  
Bother way, what&#039;s the difference between DELAYED and HELD UP?  Both describe the flight as being late.

In all these years, I&#039;ve always said, MOST DELAYS are for your safety.</description>
