It&#039;s like offering a pair of shoes, stating a cost that&#039;s half the real price, then saying &quot;each shoe&quot;. Why not just forbid the advertising of &quot;each way&quot; fares unless it is indeed possible to buy a one-way ticket?</description>

And that big bad $375,000 against Delta you refer to above? It was quietly reduced by more than half.... by $200,000 ... if Delta promised to develop new procedures to communicate better in overbooking situations. 

Does anyone ever track to see if any airline actually pays these fines, ever? Are there canceled checks made out to the US Treasury that we could see? I bet not.</description>
