		<description>Good points.  And it&#039;s not just valuable things. If it&#039;s something you need the night of arrival or the next day put it in carry-on if possible.  (An outfit you HAVE to wear, a cellphone charger, a particular toiletry or medication, etc.)  Far more bags are delayed than lost.</description>

		<description>Ship your gifts ahead.  Don&#039;t pack anything valuable in checked luggage, and don&#039;t carry on wrapped gifts (you may have to unwrap them at security.  Send them UPS before you leave, it&#039;s the safest way.</description>
