Pegasus airlines scam!! I’m living in Germany and have been defrauded by the company called Pegasus airlines (flypgs.com) which is a (fraudulent) airline company located in Turkey. I learned from my bank that they made multiple transactions from my credit card. I tried to contact them by e-mail/phone but couldn’t get my money back. After searching the internet about the company, I realized that it was too late for me. Since there are already many people like me who has already lost lots of money to this company and couldn’t get their money back. If you are reading this, please stay away from Pegasus Airlines. It’s been more than 5 months and I still don’t have any answer for them.

I got the email today, and my first thought was someone got my credit card info. I don’t buy into bogus emails, nor do I open attachments, but it made me a bit anxious.

And to Marge and Joe…there are many people who are not as brilliant as you. Sure it screams fake to most of us, but to those who are curious or to those who do not know much about computers (sometime elderly or youth) it is scary.
Have some grace! No one deserves a virus!

Still it is unbelieveable that anyone would be taken in by such a bogus email. It screams FAKE.

Good point on the mac. But I think the worry here is not so much that people believe they have bought a ticket (though some will, no doubt) as they might worry someone has gotten hold of their credit card from an email and used it fradulently. The papers and the news are FULL of those stories. In Calfornia especially with debit cards.

I mean, gosh, who believes this stuff? Its like the Paypal refund scam, the IRS TAx Rebate – sign up here’ scam. If anyone is stupid enough to beleive that they won a lottery they never entered, AND that the lottery they never entered managed to figure out their email address, they deserve what they get.
