@Frank: Why do you think the airlines are losing money?

Perhaps becuase they have never been in the buisness of making a profit.

The airlines should be nationalized, and regulated.
They were bailed out in the billions after 9/11, and they still can’t make a dime.
Poor airlines…LOL.

Continental reported a loss of $236 million or $2.14 a share. Excluding $91 million of previously announced special items, Continental recorded a net loss of $145 million or $1.32 a share.

This is outrageous! I mean I know that Continental can make their own rules but they are using a dirty way to try to scam more money from people under false pretenses (false pretenses——> charging for checked bags because of increasing fuel prices, that are actually decreasing). Is this ever going to end?
