We visit the Shrine of the Most Holy Redeemer every time we're in Vegas on a Sunday (we generally stay at MGM). It's extremely well attended and they do a nice job with their services and are extremely welcome to visitors. I also admire the work the church does for those with AIDS.

Having just stayed in Las Vegas. I now, understanding the saying: What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas-----------------> MY MONEY!
I didnt walk down that side of the strip, this time, but I never knew there was a church located right on the strip. Who knew! I was busy looking up, at all the new construction. Huge cranes dotted the skyline, one after another, building structure after structure, high into the sky. I had no idea that the "Donald" had built a hotel in Las, of course, named after him: The Trump. The Forum Shops had built on an addition: More shops. The Fashion Mall is huge now. The roller coaster onto the Stratosphere is now gone. The Encore Hotel looks like a twin to Wynn's other hotel, standing side by side.
I spent 5 hours on the strip, was tired from flying from the East Coast that morning, but enjoyed my stay.
