What comes around goes around and sooner than later a passenger was going to turn the tables and grope a TSA agent. Not that groping is ever funny, and now, 61-year-old Yukari Miyamae from Colorado, is facing felony charges.

Things disappear from luggage. Please add to the list of items you wouldn’t check. If you’ve had items stolen, what were they and did you have success in retrieving them? Plus, how many papers and claim forms were you required to fill out? There must be some interesting stories in the air. Hope they’re some with happy endings.

I just sat through a surreal Committee on Homeland Security hearing where the minutia of biometric tracking of legal immigrants was discussed and not a peep was uttered about our totally unsecure border with Mexico and other land-border-crossing controls were dismissed as “difficult.”

In an era where passengers are becoming more and more used to paying for options that made air travel easier and faster, Clear seemed to have a winning idea. Instead of relying on premium lines for frequent fliers, which required either first-class travel, or elite membership in a frequent flier program, Clear offered an express line at a number of major airports, which could cut security wait time to a minimum.
