True airport hotels unfortunately aren’t available at all airports. But when time and or a lack of stress is of the essence, it may be well worth it to look, or have your travel arranger look, and see if one might work for your trip.

Massive snowstorms in the U.K. have closed the country’s two major airports as the Christmas season arrives. Both Heathrow and Gatwick in London have been closed and are scheduled to open later in the day. Over the rest of Europe expect cancellations and delays.
