Airlines question Las Vegas Airport expansion plan

Last month we reported that the Clark County (Nev.) Commission voted to decrease funding for airport improvement from $3.7 billion to $360 million. Now it appears that they decided to backtrack and fund, among other things, a new $2.4 billion international terminal, which is scheduled to open in 2012.

Airports cut projects in wake of capacity cuts by airlines

With the airlines cutting back capacity and flights across the United States, airports across the country are taking a hard look at improvement projects they have slated for the upcoming year.
