Travelers flying Continental and United lately are treated to regular pre-flight commercials on the merger, saying that “it’s business as usual, but you will gradually notice some changes.” For starters, it would be nice to just have the existing code-share system work.

With fees these days it’s not “will they stay or go?” (They’re here for good.) Or “will they will go up or down? (They will ONLY go up.) The true question, what will they think of next? Continental has now added a fee for procrastinators.
