Jim Maloway, a New Democrat Member of the Canadian Parliament from Manitoba, introduced a tough “Airline Bill of Rights (C310)” modeled on the current EU passenger protection legislation that has been in effect since 1991. His proposed legislation comes with one-hour tarmac delay rules and tough penalties.
