How demented can this be. The priest THINKS that Foley might have perceived a naked massage, skinny dipping wiht your priest, and sleeping nude together as inappropriate??? WTF????

Sorry, the priest was in a drug induced stupor and and he cannot recall the incident???

Boy are the woes of the Catholic Church rushing back now or what?

What I don't understand is why the same church which says it stands for family values, and the sanctity of human life, hides and protects these perverts, thus jeopardizing the church and the church's message. It's completely irrational. Apparently, in today's parlance, "They just don't get it!"

It reminds me of a synagogue board in France, which did a similar job of hiding the truth for several years, about a cantor who they eventually stopped protecting. He served 2 years for "corrupting minors."

The scary part about this (as well as all the other incidents) is they keep coming to light -- it makes you worry what horrors we haven't heard about yet -- and how long will they continue to happen to youngsters.

So sad.

I heard the priest being interviewed this morning. He acted and sounded like their relationship was "lovely". He is an idiot and a whack job. Sick, sick, sick!

Kinda makes you wonder about Foley's party as well as the church. Seems both have a knack for doing the opposite of what they preach. What bothers me is that by the position they hold, people trust them.

I will not be quick to condemn his party...there are many admirable republicans just as there are admirable democrats--and sleazeball democrats as well.

I think it is a sad day when this type of thing is "mainstreamed". I am more irritated with the church--the wealthiest organization in the world and they settle these "problems" left and right.
