Biggest Priceline/Hotwire mistake you've made

I saw this on another site, so admit your goofs on those sites. I haven't made any, thankfully, but I'm sure many have here.

Knock on wood, the only mistake I've ever made was not requesting enough nights when I bid on a hotel in Charlotte, NC and got two nights in the Westin downtown for something wonderfully ridiculous like $60/night. Happened to be the same night that Kerry was staying there during his campaign.

So instead I had to move to a Radisson for the last week of my stay. Still got a fantastic deal, even though they did have me move rooms halfway through because the New England Patriots came down for a preseason game and needed a whole floor to themselves. But the hotel gave me a couple of free breakfasts (real breakfasts, not some awful buffet) as compensation. It was strange, walking past the Patriots groupies in the lobby every morning!
