Coming to the Grand Canyon

I received info about this in an email and thought it must be a joke - but investigation has shown that it is actually being built.

I know that I will never walk on it - would any of you?

This structure is definitely under construction at this time. The Skywalk is part of an effort by the Hualapai tribe to create a multi-faceted tourist resort and revenue stream not dependent upon casino gaming. I'm hoping they finish it on time in January, as I'm going to the Canyon this March, taking my wife for her first visit to it. I'm definitely going to walk on it.
