I thought it was a good list of what's available.

Of course part of the reason I liked it was the last line of the article:

Not to blow my own horn, but you might want to look at this article too:

Passport or passport card — which is best for foreign travel?

My advice continues to be that unless your travel out of the country is and is anticipated to be extremely limited limited in scope get a passport. For example, you can't fly out of the country or back into the country without one.
