Steve, think about it for a moment. Driver's license, Health Insurance Card, Voter's Registration Card, a couple of credit cards, an ATM card, perhaps an auto owner's card, maybe a store credit card, or maybe a car rental company card, etc.

Oh. I never carry all that with me - I was just thinking of what I could have with me at any given moment: driver's license, IATAN card (travel agent id), and my debit card.

OK, many people don't. I usually do, but not when I travel. In that case, I only take the cards and IDs I will use or might realistically use, and leave the rest at home.

Yes it is a VERY old sign and I remember seeing it in almost every boardwalk store down at the shore.
No personal checks!
