I file that under right of free speech and move on. It's in Deep Louisiana, not exactly known for it's embrace of the Democratic party.

Okay, I wish all political discourse would be a calm and reasoned debate of the issues, but I have a sadly firm grip on the reality.

Yes, Mandeville is deep in S. Louisiana, on the north shore of Lake Ponchatrain, across from New Orleans. That area is a bastion of Republicans. It's the area that boomed when "white flight" took place from the city itself. BUT......Mandeville is also home to the largest psychiatric hospital in the state!

Loon, you might be suprised to know that there is a large Democratic contigent here, especially in the urban areas of the state. While I don't doubt that the state will go red again in this election, I expect the "bluers" will make a good showing.

This is again going to be the choice of the lessor evil, instead of actually being able to vote for someone. Where is Teddy Roosevelt when you need him.
