Where the heck is it?!?

So, I have a job interview tomorrow morning. I thought, since I was in the area earlier today, I'd do a drive-by to ensure I know where I'm supposed to go and that way, I don't have to waste as much time looking for the place.

So, armed with the physical address and a vague idea where it is (both Google and MapQuest put the address immediately south of a major intersection), I drive over. I drive up the street. I drive down the street. I check the side streets - and I CAN'T FIND THE FREAKING PLACE. My frustration is further aggravated by the fact it's a fairly busy intersection - looking for an address and signage while preventing accidents (to me or from me) is rough!

ARGH.

Well, hopefully you have enough time to call to ask where they are before the interview!

I was hoping to avoid calling and asking - for some reason, I've always felt as a job interviewee, that was uncouth.

But, if I can't fiiiind youuuuuu.....

You were smart to go find it beforehand though. Too many people make the mistake of assuming it'll be easy to find.

Let them know that you did a drive by as you were in the area couldn't find the place. It makes you appear more professional and that you take the interview seriously!

Better to call and find out where you should go, than miss the interview.
