Why is it called a building when it's already been built?

Do Roman nurses refer to IVs as 4s?

Why is the alphabet in that order? Is it because of the song?

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

If corn oil comes from corn, where does baby oil come from?

Why is "abbreviation" such a long word?

Is there another word for "synonym?"

Do they sterilize needles for lethal injections?

Why isn't "phonetic" spelled with an F?

Why is their an expiration date on sour cream?

Why do they report power outages on TV?

Why do they report power outages on TV? This is like calling your internet provider because your link is down and listening to their recording about checking them out on line.

No kidding. My power company gives you a web address to check for updates on restoration of services since they don't want to be bothered with phone calls. I don't know about you all but my PC, internet receiver and modem doesn't work terribly well without electricity. And if I have an alternative source of power (generator, which I do have) so I can check on line, I'm not that overly concerned with the exact time frame.

Those are great points to ponder! I've wondered about the phonetics spelling for a really long time, to me that is one of the most ironic things around.
