My main concern is the health risks associated with the stuff - $500 voucher compensation is a start, but not enough.

$500 is an insulting amount for putting up with unsanitary, disgusting conditions. Heck, $500 is less that I had clients receive for giving up their flight due to overbooking. The airline should have turned the flight around immediately due to serious health concerns. Lawsuit, lawsuit, lawsuit and I would be first in line if I was on this flight.

Just what I needed today!I would have rathered they just refund my tix price. They can keep their vouchers. Let me get over the "incident" and maybe someday I'll fly you again. But till then, just refund me and let me block it all from my mind. ![]() Last edited by Ned; 06-22-2007 at 11:58 AM. I agree Ozzy. I wouldn't ever fly an airline again after a horrific situation like this. Did you see the pictures of passengers wearing hospital type caps and masks?

$500 in airline funny money is no start. $500 in cash might be a start. It's really disgusting to see bathroom ooze stream past your seat. At least these passengers generally have a choice not to fly this airline again. Lucky them.

This plane should have turned around, the obvious health risks of untreated sewage (I won't say "raw sewage" as I have never known sewage to be cooked
) seeping throughout the cabin and contaminating everything stowed under the seats (I doubt on a transatlantic flight there would suddenly be sufficient space to move all carry ons to overhead bins) and to think the FA's are walking through this to serve food and drinks would definitely put me on a hunger strike and the final insult of splashing through the waste to exit the plane should have been enough to let Continental know that no way is a $500 voucher going to compensate for that travesty. |
