Caught this lovely shot hiking through the tidal marsh

Hi All,

I caught this nice shot of a Barn Swallow while hiking in the tidal marshes of the JHNWR.

We have barn swallows...and they are a HUGE pain as they are very, very, very messy. I know they have blue on them, but never seen one close enough to really see how colorful they can be. Nice shot...just keep him on the east coast

We just went spent the day at a fun local Safari park, http://www.safariwest.com/
and absolutely loved it. Loads of exotic birds, along with the larger critters and I kept telling myself, I have to do as well as Ned on my photos. Well I tried. I did get some fun shots. The nosie level was amazing which I should have brought the video camera for....next time!

I really really need to get out to Heinz with the new lens one of these days...

I think I have a free weekend in October 2013.
