We are planning to visit Santa Barbara in the very near future. What are some attractions, places, etc. that a 6-YO will like? Your suggestions and recommendations will be greatly appreciated by us. Thanks.

Well for CA residents, the SB Mission is always a must. Stearns Wharf is fun to walk out and have a meal. You can rent a surrey bike around there and ride along the waterfront/park area. Of course there is just going to the beach. Nearby is Solvang, a Danish town. There are windmills and loads of Danish bakeries, and another mission.

I posted before and now nothing is showing when I come in. I will post againa and hope it doesn't show later as a duplicate post.
For CA residents, the SB Mission is a must. It is considered the Queen of the 21 missions. Stearns Wharf is fun for walking out over the water and having a meal. In the same area, you can rent surrey bikes and ride on the sidewalk along the waterfront and park area. Nearby is the town of Solvang, which is Danish. There are windmills and lots of Danish bakeries to enjoy as you walk around the town. Another Mission is just out of town. |
