Default Photos from the Balkans

We recently returned from almost a month in the Balkans, having spent quality time in each of: Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzgovina, Montenegro, Croatia and Slovenia. (I'm ignoring the 35 minutes in Italy!)

A summary of 35 photos can be found here. No captions ended up in this gallery so ask here if you need to know what something is. Enjoy!

I enjoyed looking at those! Was one of bird prints in the sand?

Thanks.

The pigeon is actually walking around on top of our canvas shade as we have lunch at an outside cafe in Split (inside Diocletian's Palace). Shot straight up.

I'll have to go look at that one again. You seem to take a similar style of photos as I do. We also seem to travel around the same time. Last year we were both in Kansas in Oct. We just spent a month in Europe. I learned something new while in Austria, from our one and only 'escorted' day tour, which was the Sound of Music tour out of Salzburg. Croatia was part of Austria not so long ago and Capt Von Trapp was in the Austrian Navy.

Who's following who(m?)? We have no plans yet for next October (Feb, May/June and Aug are set) so let me know when you decide where to go and I'll put it on our list! Two more trips (both domestic) remain for 2012.

Nice! I liked the Mixymo cocktail bus, the Castle in the rock and the last statue best, but all were good to see.
