Took a long hike today - The Butterflies are back!
Along with friends, I took a long hike today in the Heinz National Wildlife Refuge. Near the impoundment pond I spied this beautiful Monarch Butterfly, and thought I'd share its image with everyone.

That's beautiful! I love butterflies. When I was a kid, and spent summers in Mississippi, I used to love to sit out in the field behind the house and watch all the different colors flit around. Thanks, Ned.

I went to the Butterfly Farm here and got a few shots. So far I have only managed to post my pics to Facebook. When I get home, and after my work shift, I will get everything uploaded to my winkflash account. I am going to go to take pics here at Eagle Beach later today.
