Of course, Delta doesn't always actually tell you what your mileage expiration date is on emailed statements. You have to click through to activity and log in sometimes, but at least there it's fairly obvious. I noticed that little anomaly last fall when I started getting regular statements from them. A couple of times since then they've sort of forgotten that detail, and since they only email statements during months when you have activity, someone who doesn't use the program all that much could only get the statements without expiration detail. Yeah, I'm one of those nerds who archives them in an Outlook folder so I just double checked.

There are probably a lot of converted World Perks members who aren't paying attention that may have a nasty surprise starting late next year since the Perks miles never expired but now they do as Sky Miles.

Just an update, my daughter has had her AA miles reinstated as a result of providing proof of multiple purchases via the AA Advantage link. She was persistent and dogged about getting her due.

Thumbs up

Good for her. I like to hear stories like that where people just won't give up when they're right.
