US Airways 500 Miles Web Bonus

I just learned today , that US Airways eliminated its 500 Miles Web Bonus for individuals booking their reservations on their website.

My last 500 Miles Web Bonus was on a flight that I took on 11/6/07 but was booked in early October. All flights in November (except the 11/6/07) and thereafter, no 500 Miles Web Bonus.

I don't recall receiving any e-mails or mail from US Airways announcing that the elimination of the 500 Miles Web Bonus. Also, I don't recall seeing anything on their website. I tried searching their website but can't find anything about it.

Can anyone tell me when it was announced? I am guessing that it was announced during the time when I was out of the country for three weeks or it wasn't announced at all.

This is going to cost me at least 25,000 miles a year.
