Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge
Hi All,
I hope you're having a marvelous long holiday weekend, if you're in the US, and a shorter regular weekend elsewhere. Yesterday, Mrs. N. and I, along with 4 friends ventured down to the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Smyrna, DE. While there's no doubt Hurricane Irene reduced the number of birds and other wildlife available for viewing we did see 32 species of birds. Here's an image of an Osprey which just took off from a large tree, which I was lucky enough to capture. I hope you enjoy it.  |
