Exclamation Firefox 5.0 is out, but ...

Firefox 5.0 is out, but I suggest holding off for a few weeks or so:
  • There are a few reported problems with 5.0 already, including a problem in which a website's favicon shows in the address bar, but not on the individual tabs.
  • A few people running Windows XP have reported stability problems and had to remove a few add-ons to eliminate that.
  • A significant number of excellent add-ons are not yet compatible with 5.0.
  • There are some reports of difficulties obtaining webmail with 5.0.
  • Google Blogger's pages and comment areas are a problem with 5.0 at this point for many.
  • There are reports of resizing problems with 5.0 which seems to be localized to a few video cards and the drivers running them.
I think Mozilla will be quickly addressing these problems, many of which will require a fix release, and other probably only a teak to the config file.

Thanks Ned, I saw that some of my add-ons will not work, so I'm holding off. It looks to me as though that was the prudent move!
