Travel agent sentenced for fraud

I hope the authorities and the news focus their attention in all travel operators (the big guys) that are cheating customers every day. It seems that the media is afraid or they are receiving pressure from them. You can perfom a simple search in yahoo or google "company name" and "complaints" or "victims" or "fraud/scam" and you can read really bad stories about travel operators. However, few of these stories receive the attention of the media or authorities. They are free to cheat people.

It's always sad when a travel agent/operator betrays the trust placed in him/her by the general public.

It's also maddening, as it can make it harder for those of us who are honest and hard-working to earn that trust.

Good that she got caught, and punished.
