You might have noticed a few minor changes to the forums this morning. We've changed Tripso's name to Consumer Traveler (www.consumertraveler.com) and have re-integrated the forums into the site.

Other than that, nothing has changed -- yet.

We don't plan to make any revisions to the "members only" section of the forums. Those are, for lack of a better term, autonomous.

But we do plan to make some tweaks to the public section, including:

- Moving a few ads around.
- Streamlining the fonts to match Consumer Traveler's look and feel.
- Optimizing some of the designations, such as "uber poster" etc.
- Consolidating some of the public folders to make the site look less cluttered.

As you know, Charlie and I are not actively involved in the forums, so we are relying on input from you as to how you would want the redesign to proceed.

You can email me directly at [email protected] or Charlie at [email protected]

Thank you for making your home at the new Consumer Traveler forums.

Chris, I'm a firm believer of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

The only thing I would like to see is an easier way to get back to the main page from the forums, like we used to have before the forums were spun off from Tripso.

Chris:

The font size on the articles on the main page seems a tad, well, small. If the forums went to that size, it would be unreadable..

On a website only note, I'd recommend making authors names a little more prominent, and maybe adding a by author section to navigation..
