Commissioner Says 'Black Hole' is Racist Term


Truly unbelievable!
One of the commissioners was talking about parking tickets going into a black hole, meaning that it's disappearing and not being taken care of.

So what are we supposed to call it when stars collapse --they turn into an African-American Hole?

Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price is sticking to his comments that the term "black hole," which a colleague used, is racist. Price also says language such as "angel food cake" and "devil's food cake" is also racially insensitive.

And Stephen, I'd have to say that "African American hole" would be culturally insensitive to those living outside of the Americas....

My bet is that he is or was unaware of the nature of a black hole. Another example of someone getting out of school without any science education. And if I'm wrong then I will go with John! :D

Geez black is a color. What the hell is he going to call white bread? Does he feel all auto dealers are insensitive because they sell black cars? I swear we need an island to put all of these stupid people on.
