Located in the Appalachian Mountain Range in northwest Virginia, the valley stretches a great distance. During the summer months, the weather can be cooler than in other parts of region. There are cabins, miles of hiking trails, and endless recreational opportunities. It's not hard to reach either since it is accessible from most interstates and major highways.
