Why did the Mutiny on the Bounty happen? Because the Bounty crew was entirely seduced by the overwhelming romanticism of French Polynesia, and couldn't bear to leave! That's how I felt when I was there. The PG offers the best cruise experience in the region: the small, intimate ship, the incredibly friendly crew (many of whom have been on that ship for a decade), the "never say no" service, the gourmet food, the all-inclusiveness (including alcoholic beverages), the caressing Tahitian breezes, the stunning islands, the deserted coves and beaches...it just doesn't get more romantic.
