I think you missed one: Regent's Paul Gauguin, a six-star luxury ship that cruises year-round in French Polynesia -- which has got to rank up there as the most romantic place on earth. Why did the Mutiny on the Bounty happen? Because the Bounty crew was entirely seduced by the overwhelming romanticism of French Polynesia, and couldn't bear to leave! That's how I felt when I was there. The PG offers the best cruise experience in the region: the small, intimate ship, the incredibly friendly crew (many of whom have been on that ship for a decade), the "never say no" service, the gourmet food, the all-inclusiveness (including alcoholic beverages), the caressing Tahitian breezes, the stunning islands, the deserted coves and beaches...it just doesn't get more romantic.
