It sounds to me that you want us to be good little boys and girls and take whatever insults are dished out at us......just so we won't be kicked off the flight or denied a room or car. I too believe in emails as a terrific complaint tool but they clearly don't get immediate gratification. I have been known to just stand firm to get what I want, and that usually works! If I'm in the right I refuse to be abused by someone who's having a bad day and decides to take it out on me. I won't yell or curse but I won't back off either.

You are aware that you CAN NOT put your laptop in the seat back pocket. Also if you were on a regional aircraft (the do international flights USA to Canada/Mexico/Caribbean) a "regulation sized" carry-on bag is not allowed and has to be gate checked. It is hard to maintain an upbeat attitude when there is one person who tried to break every rule an gives the FA problems when she tried to correct what is wrong. If by chance there is FAA personnel onboard and you are breaking some of the rules set forth by them, the FA, airline, and you personally can be fined, The FA was just saving her butt

Ask Bonnie Friedman about her worst customer service experience, and she won’t hesitate to tell you about the time she checked in for her flight from Venice to Frankfurt.
An agent at the counter, who appeared to be on a personal phone call, ordered Friedman to return 15 minutes later.
==================================================

Hmmmm, an Italian employee in Venice speaking, probably Italian on the phone to someone. Does Ms Freidman speak Italian? Or is she psychic?
