You can get excellent wine for about half that price. Evidently you did not discover "Aldi", PennyMarkt, etc. On your way to Strasbourg you must have gone through Wissemburg. You should have stopped there and visited that Cathedral, too. Your journey made me more than a little jealous and a little homesick. I lived just outside of Heidelberg for 6 years and made many such trips. You don’t have to pay that much for good wine. You can get excellent wine for about half that price.
