The video revolution is broadsiding the aviation industry. Here are are seven online videos the airlines probably wish would go offline.

How does Southwest Airlines keep its costs down? By asking its pilots to clean their own darned windows.

    If all flight attendants had that sense of humor, then people actually would pay attention to the instructions, regardless of how often they hear them. Thanks for sharing that, it was hysterical!

    Judging from the flight attendant’s irreverent tone and deviation from the script, I’d guess that it’s a Southwest Airlines flight. Returning to Philadelphia from Tampa, our Southwest flight attendant broke into a version of “Heartbreak Hotel” to advise us that we were cleared for takeoff that was unexpected but amusing. She received a fair amount of applause.

    Obviously Southwest — not just because of the intro, but because of the markings on the wings. :P Actually, I had a flight attendant with a similar sense of humor on a JetBlue flight a few years ago.
