Recently, I have been watching passengers moving through TSA lines. They shuffle along, don’t make eye contact, obey all instructions, submit to full-body scanners, have their luggage pawed through and watch others get called out for additional screening. All the while, hoping that they can move through TSA inspections quickly, quietly without being noticed.

As the United-Continental fun continues, one of the more interesting (for want of a less family-friendly word), has to do with the new PIN system. United MileagePlus members may have already had a password and Continental OnePass had a four digit PIN. Now, everyone has a PIN. They just don’t all know it.
