We brought her a monkey on a string attached to a pole we had got from the Apple Blossom vender that day. She told the nurse that she really had triplets and number 3 just showed up on the string. It was so funny. The twins are 54 years old today, April 28, 2008. The girl lives in PA and the boy lives in Front Royal, VA. My mother always said children were cheaper by the dozen and at her age she was trying to double up. Which happen to be her last children. She was in her forties. She was a great lady. Which makes Apple Blossom time a special time in my life as I was honored to play second mom to the last 5 children.
