When my daughter Samantha was 18 months old, we made the mistake of flying from Albany, New York, to Las Vegas — nonstop. It was like traveling with a chimpanzee. Just as hiking, mountain biking and canoeing provide outdoor recreation, paintball fields are offering the great outdoors. Here’s Peggy Shinn’s take on what she calls the modern version of cowboys and Indians.
